Centralised Lubrication System
Continuous Lubrication Unit
Whenever the Lubrication is of continuous in nature, the system is totally different as compare to intermittent System. Basically oil get ejected on friction areas and return back to the tank of lubrication unit under gravity. Oil has to be filtered thoroughly when it falls at lubrication points.
The system basically requires the following items:
- Suitable reservoir with baffles.
- Continuous duty motors TEFC.
- Positive displacement pump-gear/lobe type.
- Suitable relief valve to relieve excess pressure.
- Suitable inline filter to clean the oil thoroughly.
- Metering Valves (Progressive feeder) with Indicator Pin.
- Return line filter with clogging indicator.
- Restrictor ejecting oil at Low Pressure.
- Instruments like pressure gauge with isolation valve/ pressure switch.
- Oil level switch.
- Heater or Cooler (Optional)
- Control Panel to monitor the pressure/ level of oil in the tank/ level of filtration as well as houses motor contractor/ relay etc. with auto/manual mode.
- Continuous lubrication systems are in standard models: 20/ 30/ 50/ 75 & 120 liters capacity with 1/ 3/ 4/ 6 & 10 LPM pumps with pressure rating of 5 kg/cm2.
